ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 influenced global pandemic severely affected the market of small industries and had a deep impact on the agri economic of the farmer community across the globe. The main objective of this article is to emphasize on the influence of global pandemic with agriculture and food sector. The lockdown made ambivalent in agriculture, the point of concern is that, at the first phase of lockdown in India, Rabi crops are at harvest stage, due to the lockdown the breakdown of supply chain has been interrupted and left a noticeable impact on the marketability of agriculture crops even though it has registered moderate growth in terms of yield. At present globally mankind is experiencing the waves of pandemic and it caused significant loss to the yield of crops. If the situation continuous, the world is going to experience the hunger deaths. To overcome the issue discussed, agriculture sector needs to adapt new technologies, right from the cultivation, harvest and supply chain with marketing to bring the new normal life back to mankind. This is the right time to have transition from conventional agri practices to the technology invented smart agriculture. Indian agriculture sector should adapt and the former community need to be educated in applying ICT based smart agriculture practices such as utilization of automated machinery, AI (artificial intelligence) enabled cultivation methods, Internet of Things (IoT) and Wireless Sensor Networks based monitoring and maintenance of the agriculture practice. The application ICTs methods in agriculture practices facilitate to choose good quality seeds, optimum quantity of manures required for the enhanced crop yield and direct monetary of the agriculture firm in order to show resilience to the global pandemic impact on agriculture sector. In the present review authors emphasised on various smart agriculture methods and their importance in promoting the agriculture practice as profitable venture and also how this ICT methods helps the sector to overcome the impact of global pandemic and to bring back the new normal life. © 2023,International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications. ABSTRACT

Pandemics are large-scale outbreaks of contagious disease that can significantly raise ill health and promote death. Pandemics can spread through, wide range of geographical areas across the globe and capable of disrupting social and economic status of the countries affected. With the scientific testimony available it is evidenced that the rate of occurrence of pandemics has been drastically increased over the last two decades and presently witnessing the impact of COVID-19 disease globally. Anthropogenic activities such as urbanization conditions, increased global travel, abnormal land usage, exploitation of natural environment, are some of the significant causative factors that promote the rate of occurrence of pandemics. Rapid spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus highlighted the importance such as, be ready for any imminent event, need of detecting new bacterial and viral pathogens at initial stages of contagion and focus on the risk elements that promote the occurrence and spread of the outbreaks to humankind. It is evidenced from the literature that, there is a great demand to institute the methodological process using smart approaches such as Insilco based studies to investigate the emergence of future pandemics. Globally there is a great demand for the robust and efficient procedures to develop novel biomolecule in quick period. With this significance, the present paper aimed to survey the occurrence of global pandemics and the applications of Insilco methods in identifying newer routes to develop novel biomolecules in challenge the existing, newly emerging, resurging, deliberately emerging global outbreaks. © 2022 Published by ISRES Publishing: www.isres.org.

ABSTRACT

Covid-19 is a disease caused by virus named SARC CoV type II of Corona virus family and is announced as Pandemic disease by WHO in the month of March 2020. Virus is spreading at exponential rate and causing more than 1.3 lack death globally today. Covid-19 has been announced as one of the biggest threat to the mankind in last 100 years. Antiviral drugs and the vaccines are under clinical phases, to combat this outbreak, it is essential to maintained good health condition with boosted immune activity. Ashwagandha has been a medicinal plant under Ayurvedic studies for various therapeutic uses since ancient times of India. It has been regarded as the most important plant as every part of the plant can serve as a remedial/curative alternative. Despite the versatility of the plant, scanty research has been done to explore its potential in creating varied healthcare and value-added allied products used as immune system booster in situation similar to Covid 19 outbreak. There is a huge lacuna in literature dedicated to documenting the prospective applications of Ashwagandha healthcare products. This work is an attempt to compile current literature with an eye on the possibility of creating healthcare and value addition products based on this versatile medicinal plant. The paper provides a historical perspective on the evolution of and investigations carried out to explore the applications of Ashwagandha as a medicinal plant. It the wake of a sudden interest in herbal plants, this work will act as a primer for the herbal-based solutions in the areas of cancer treatment, neural disorders, immune boosters especial for Covid 19 cause of viral outbreak, stress-relief, and rejuvenation. It also finds applications as cardio-respiratory endurance enhancer, anti-ageing, antioxidant, hypoglycemic, hypocholesterolemic and as an effective adaptogen. To reach out to a wider audience the paper concludes with open research issues, challenges in using Ashwagandha as a medicinal plant in the current scenario.
